Gigabyte z77-D3H vs UD3H for OCing 2700k

I have a 2700K ready. Would love to OC it 5ghz if the chip can manage it.

Am I significantly more likely to be able to do it with the UD3H? Do the extra power phases help? I have no need for SLI/Xfire, loads of extra sata/usb ports etc....just overclocking potential (accepting silicon lottery)

May I ask why you would disregard so many features for a superficial increase of clock speed?

I simply dont need them. Im heavily CPU limited.

Sorry to biggy-back yourthread but what comes in the D3H box? How many sata cables, etc. just incase i need to order some more.
