Obese women in Bikinis - should we be advocating this as normal?

Being big is fine, but trying to convince genuinely fat girls that being 20 stone+ is fine? definitely not!
Exactly. They're dressing like that in an attempt to get the point across that it's OK to be overweight. I'm sorry, but it's not. It's unhealthy and it puts an increased strain on your whole body which can lead to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis etc.

Not to mention the fact that it's not aesthetically pleasing either.

Let's be honest, not only is that a massive healthy risk but I don't think its right for them to make everyone else on the beach feel sick.

I find them unattractive and I bet around 90% of other people do as well... Except for fat feshisness of this man...

What a bunch of beauties!!

I'm not saying that being unattractive is reason to stay inside all summer, but being fat is something that can be helped.

Bad reporting is bad...

In title.....'UK Athletics'
First line in article..."a senior UK Athletics official whom he alleges said the Olympic hopeful is fat."

Prett damn obvious she is muscle.

msot daily mail readers are fat.

One thing i find is when i meet someone who is grossly over weight my initial assumption is they're usually a bit thick, not always true but it's just the first thing that i think.

Probably because weight does seem to have an alarming correlation to earning power... Generally people who earn more appear to be more intelligent (less of an accent, perhaps more articulate).

Walk around the business parts of london and everyone appears to be slim and attractive. Walk around the local town centre and everyone seems to be fat and wallowy.

Those black boys have a decent rack.

A little bit of me is a bit jealous... Just imagine being able to play with them whenever you want...:p

also look at women from the 50s and 60s they where not super skinny and not super fat, just right

interesting as it used to be the other way around (the rich were fat as they needed less work).

wonder if it's intelligence or just laziness.

How sad :(

Yes SO much fat on her. She's so fat and unhealthy, that she can't even win a silver medal if sh.......Oh wait! :p

Ridiculous, that woman is bloody HOT, and very healthy. Good on her, hopefully comments and crappy news articles don't change her mind set.

I hate this world

Toni Minichiello, who has coached the heptathlete since she was 11, claimed an unnamed "high-ranking person" told him: "She's fat and she's got too much weight."

yeah that's definitely not 100% made up as a publicity stunt.

Minichiello dismissed the criticism, saying it was typical of distractions to Ennis's preparations that he was trying to filter out.

See what a good person instead of just keeping the comment to themselves they decided to "filter it out" by reporting it to the international press so as not to distract his pupil....

Really? Have you ever actually been near a woman in real life? She's not fat. Looks about spot on to me.

I'd hate to be a woman nowadays. So much pressure from the media to be pencil thin. I've witnessed lots of decent looking size 10-12 women berated for being fat by their somewhat large boyfriends. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that.

Yes this women in the DM article are overweight but it's a massive troll article. Classic DM taking advantage of people to generate link bait.

+1 to this

I'm not in to large women, skinny girls are tolerable. women should have shape!

However, if people want to go out showing their fat let them, we're far too judgemental as a society!
