*** League of Legends ***

Being serious though, the only way to keep playing this game is to think what Deiwos said. Even in games where I completely dominate, do crazy **** and our team wins because of it I have to turn around and say... "Right, I made so much mistakes and did x many stupid things that game that just happened to work out. Gotta work on that". You never play a perfect game, don't even try and blame others until you do.

At the same time though, you can't beat yourself up over it.

Because I've been playing support/AD more than usual (ironically in ranked), I've been stuck laning with others and when they're inevitably terrible, instead of raging I always try and think "ok, what could I have done to improve my performance and maybe help keep my AD/support alive more".

I've not actually played since Diablo 3 came out though, I must play some again before I forget what little I'd learned.

Had a fun ranked game with ken last night, started with a raging battle over the bans - too many people watch these b%#€$¥ casts and think they can play like the pros so ban like the pros. Anyway huge rant - ken and I are thinking this is going to be fun - not and we totally massacred the team. Of course it can go either way and we could always lhave been the unlucky ones, but fun when the team works together even if we did start with a huge rage from all sides including me :)

I would like to see the start ban against the start team choice be random so whoever is first ban doesn't necessarily get start pick. Otherwise i'm reasonably happy with it 6 bans is quite a lot.

Epic game last night, helped somewhat by our ineptness at the beginning when their team invaded our blue we did likewise on theirs. But it was a dummy on their part which resulted in 2 deaths on ours side. By the 20 min mark we were something like 14 deaths to 1 kill. By the 30 minute mark it was something like 30 deaths to 4 kills. Surrender vote on our side called but we hadn't lost the inhibitor so we battled on. Last ditch on our part we went for baron which incredibly the other team were ignoring. Got baron, won next team fight. They still have the advantage with the gold but another baron comes long and again we ace them and shoot through for victory on 50 minutes.

Not had a game like that for a long time and in large part it was a big big fail on the opposing team to let it run away from them and for ignoring Baron

the new craze seems to be.

assign a macro to a key that types "/laugh" and constantly press that key for the whole game like an utter ****

All I can think is solo play plays totally differently to group, the only time I see people using these are at the start or the end of the game or on one case where the character was trying to get people to jump on him and his team were in the bush - all valid IMHO.

Had an interesting game last night, other team all took smite and heal and then tried to surge through the middle lane. We kept me as gp and kog at bottom whilst the rest of the team held them off till the inhibitor.

We mistimed so lost the inhibitor but by then we all had a gold advantage and a level advantage over them. Ended up with a base race to the towers (not seen one of those for some time) which we won :) all good fun and a nice change. Could be so something to try - though it's a 10 min strategy which if it fails early it's game over

Anybody notice since DOTA keeps giving out more keys that the quality of the LoL player decreases?

Seriously pre dota my elo was always hovering 12-1300 and people were nice, cue a fifteen game losing streak of 'ZOMG GUYZZZ I IZ SUPPORT SONA MID !!!!111'

now under 800. Rock and roll...

Duo queue is best way in ranked, find a buddy who you enjoy playing with, much more rewarding IMHO. Then again I think I'm probably more a social gamer.
