i have completely exceeded my original budget of £700 because i want the gigabyte gtx 670 but i am worried that it will not perform as good on the asus p6z77-v pro compared to the gigbyte zzx-ud77x sorry if this question seems stupid its just i am spending a lot of money! :D will it work exactly the same on both boards?

It'll work the same yes. Though the Gigabyte board you listed doesn't exist!?

The main reason I suggest Gigabyte is for good build quality, and a UK RMA base with good customer service should anything go wrong.

Motherboards will make approx. 0.5% difference in performance. Just make sure you reinstall Windows, because it will complain otherwise (if you have already installed it) enjoy your card :D
