Have warm hatches been replaced by diesels

God this thread is tedious and will just go around and around.

I'm off to play with my driving videos from this weekend of my aging, underpowered jap coupe/hatch that could keep up with a 350Z and 280hp old Porsche Turbo :)

It also revs up to 9000rpm, so going by just that figure and only that figure, makes every other hot, tepid, warm, mildly moist hatch slow :D:D:D

That is all very good but did you get 50MPG?

218hp yes, but I can't tell if that is really a new engine, or just a more 'tuned' version of the old one.

Interestingly this new engine's specs are almost identical to what Alpina did with their D3 Bi-turbo.

Vauxhall have just announced a 2.0 BiTurbo engine (195PS) for the GTC, which should be fun. :)

Edit: already posted :p
