I will not get a white one, If they is a big delay on the blue I'll cancel mine and carry on using my S2.

I have until Friday to send mine in to O2 for the £230.
 
Maybe they had a change of heart and are recalling the blue and shipping out black instead?

If it's the back cover then why not just ship back covers on their own with the fix and dish them free to retailers who then send it to Blue buyers.

You can ask for an extension if you haven't already done so, they're very helpful.

Probably some minor cosmetic issue.
 
Does anyone know what the defect actually is? I can live with a defect if they just send out a replacement cover whenever it is ready. The way they have gone about it doesn't make much sense =/

Vodafones offical words on the problem at the moment. Apparently they have enough stock to fulfil the pre-orders, but the second run of handsets was affected. Meaning blue will be in very short supply AFTER the release on the 30th for a number of carriers.

Yeah i get the feeling it may be something to do with them rushing to produce more of the blues as, apparently, they massively underestimated the popularity of the colour!

Read somewhere that they figured white would sell in much higher volumes so maybe they botched on the blue production to try and get more out quickly and ****** up.. who knows!

It all depends on when CPW ordered their handsets from Samsung though, as to whether or not they got stock from the first production run
