Just out of interest, if you saw the above as a film showing time, when would you have gone to see it?

According to the French cinema I went to last night, expecting to watch a movie, it obviously means Tuesday night, and would actually be Wednesday at 00h05... Forgive me, but surely not? :p

A bit of a redundant thread, but what do you think?

I'd be arriving for the late night presentation just before midnight last night. What film is it?

For me it all depends what it is like on the list...

e.g. Tuesday @ 19:05, 20:05, 21:05, 22:05, 23:05, 00:05 - Then I would go 00:05 Wed

e.g. Tuesday @ 00:05, 10:05, 11:05, etc... - Then I would go at 00:05 Tue

Technically speaking, the showing would be 00:05 on Tuesday.

I think the people running this French cinema don't have a basic grasp of timekeeping.

Agreed with sbi5ar. I wonder if it's meant to be indicative of when the film starts rather than when the showing opens?

I just have a ticket that says:

Prometheus Mardi 29 Mai 00h05

When we turned up last night, a gentleman looked at us and asked why we were here, we told him, and he said that it was tomorrow... I said that the ticket was for now, and said I was being picky... :p I was like, bro... I'm just reading the ticket.

I would've thought Tuesday morning at 00:05 but I would've checked in advance . There is also the fact the launch date for the film is May 30th, not 29th.

I was initially this
if it's 5 past 12 on a tuesday i expect it to be 5 past 12 on a tuesday, not a wednesday :p

Then I read the below post and was, yeah that makes perfect sense as well and makes it pretty clear which day it's on.

That film is on Thursday night/Friday morning, and I'd expect yours to be on Monday night/Tuesday morning.

This for me as well.

Yes, the only showing on the website for Prometheus was for Tuesday May 29th 00:05. I am disappoint...

As it was just one time showing, I probably would also have gone Monday night.

Vue is confused too:

Now as far as I am concerned I need to be there Thursday night for the film because it starts at 1 minute past midnight on what will then be Friday morning.

I would have gone on the Wednesday at 00.05 as to the cinema it is still the Tuesday in terms of shifts and the working day.
