I do know what you mean, but the more I looked at the white version the more it grew on me.

Yeah, I thought it was awful to start with but I don't think it's too bad now. Certainly not a terrible option. I've yet to see the S3 in person though.

I don't get all of the people comparing it to the iPhone either, you do realise most iPhone's are black and not white, and aside from that, they have no resemblance?!

I dunno about you but I think fluid and snappy are two different things, with the S3 being the first and the 4S being the latter. It's hard to explain because we all have different perceptions about it.

To put it in a way, would I miss the snappiness of my 4S? Nah not really lol. Something that opens way too quickly gives me a slight headache, while stutter free fluid animations are what I prefer. Maybe I need an eye test soon.

Mind you, I haven't had the chance yet to fill it to the rim with apps and 7 home screens worth of widgets. I could run some benchmarks for you guys as well if you like, if you tell me which apps to download.

Nah benchmarks are lame - just want to know how smooth scrolling and home screen navigation is - any judders, stutters etc - on the s3 and ip4s for that matter.

I'm starting to come to that conclusion myself. on the downside my PUK code expires on the 9th of june, but on the up side I've still got another month to run on my O2 contract, so waiting for 3 to get me a s3blue may actually save me a months wasted line rental

It seems like everyone is being lied to atm, my cousin was also told his blue S3 will be with him by Friday. I've told him no chance.

I'm failing to understand how people who pre ordered the blue are now turning to white for the sake of a few weeks. You will be tied to it for 24 months in a colour which is second choice to you. Surely 20 or even 30 days is worth waiting for to then have two years in your first choice aesthetic?

I believe blue is a second choice color for most of us who pre-ordered it, already. Black would've been the first one :\

its a colour! my only concern with white is it shows marks more easily, to be quite honest, blue is a rubbish colour for a phone.
I have cancelled my pre order anyway, after hearing about 3 and their throttling, I will see the last 6 months out on my s2 contract and see whats on offer

Called my local (I have 4? Maybe 5 in sheffield)CPW earlier on while I was at work, and they say they are expecting delivery of their S3's around 11ish tomorrow, and there will be some available sim free, but they have no idea how many. So I guess that is my plan tomorrow.

Cant be worse than 02 mobile data speeds sureley? Ive been with them 2 years on an 'unlimited data plan'.

I only use my moblile internet for reading forums, facebook and such, very occasional video clips or other bandwidth intensive stuff. I was actauly quite suprised when 02 told me my monthly data usage was 500-600meg, considering that my phones set to jump onto mine and all my friends wi-fi routers when in range...

Goes to show how much junk there is on web pages these day I guess.

Think i will go for the white one,my HTC Desire contract is up now,Android are the way forward now i think,don't fancy paying up front a lot of cash when the i phone 5 is out later in the year.

my lad is always on youtube streaming cartoons and kids programs when he has my phone, which is the equivalent of a dummy these days, hes 2.5 yrs old, I dont want to get knocked down to 20kbps for 7 days because hes been caning youtube, I would rather stick with t mobile unlimited internet I already have

Had a couple of hours with it now but I prefer my hox, the hox justs feels better quality, i prefer the ui and camera seems better.

Yep, it's one of the things that bugged me the most about it! See here.

Think I'll drop by the town centre on the way home from work tomorrow, see if there's any demo units to have a play with. Contract's up for upgrade fairly soon too, hopefully phones4u may be able to do some form of buyout.

If not I feel I may end up caving to new gadget syndrome and buying one outright if it really is as good as some people are saying, and if it looks good in white! Assuming they can't do anything with a buyout.

For those that have purchased via mobiles.co.uk, what is your experience with them like? The £26pm deal they are offering via T-Mobile is so much better than anything else out there, so I'm very tempted to order, but am a little wary of the retailer. If you have problems do you contact them or the operator?

Also, as I'm on T-Mobile at the moment, I assume I'd have to call them up, cancel, get my PAC code, and then place the order with mobiles.co.uk whilst providing said PAC code?

So again earlier this evening i found myself down at Westfield White City, my missus works there so met her after work. Anyhow seems like they had some huge thing going on there because directly in front of their pop up store they had a huge stage with a Sammy banner saying come meet your S3 etc and looks like it was some sort of concert with a band performing on stage...obviously i didnt stick around to see it as i wanted to get something to eat with the missus and then head back home etc.

But had another play with the S3, again they both had the white and blue version. Missus likes the white version and said the blue doesnt appeal to her and said that if i was to get one, then definitely the white one. But nope ill wait for the blue version or if they announce a black version, might hang fire for that.

Anyhow got talking to a cute little blonde chick there and asked her about the blue delays...funnily enough she didnt know anything about it..go figure, its true that blondes are dumb but at least she was cute. But she said that they were going to start selling the phones after 7pm and already there was a que of people waiting to pick theirs up. Asked if i could buy one today and if it was sim free but she couldnt answer those questions so i thought **** me all this hype over a phone, yet when apple fanboi's go crazy for a new iphone the phandroid princesses sit there and s****** at them...very ironic at how much hype there is over this phone because the stand was jam packed with people lol.

Anyhow if anyone was there earlier on tonight, was there some sort of pre-order show going on?? ie a band playing or did they get real cheesy and announce the pre-order people to come up one by one to collect their S3's...now that would have been epic,should have stuck around but my missus and my tummy had other ideas.

Thanks. Have got it on charge at the moment as I was told you're supposed to charge before using it although I got my sim cut in the Samsung shop and had a quick play with it on the way home. I like the colour now even though I didn't even consider it to begin with. Swype texting is faster and web browser is faster too. Will have to try out more tomorrow, but now can't wait to get a nice case and screen cover for it so it remains in pristine condition like my S2. I'm a fussy bird.

My keyboard of choice (Swiftkey) may well change as the key sizes will be all different on this and I do like the Swype beta as well, hmm.
