knew you would be straight on here to grumble. you're moaning won't be missed. The people vote what they want to vote. Metro is the most popular BF3 map, for many reasons, some good some bad. We don't have a "trash map rotation" we have a vote system, at the time we had 3 on teamspeak, 2 voted metro and 1 voted firestorm, so don't even go down that road. i'm sure you saw that most of the server cheered when you said you were leaving.... THAT is how bad you moaned and cried like a spoilt kid who did not get what he wanted from mummy. seriously grow up.

You are not around when the server goes from full to almost empty after Metro runs 4 times in a row and is moving onto the fifth. Where half the server cannot vote something different because it only takes 4 muppets to vote for Metro and it outweighs any other combination of votes for other maps irrespective of how many times it has just been on while also being the current map. Did you stop to think Metro is only apparently the most popular on the server because it is what 30% of the server votes for when the other 70% fancy something totally different and the votes get spread out between the 7 other options? Of course not. I do not care what the global stats say, it only takes a few Metro whores to vote for it and no other map can get a look in. Did you not even consider a system in which the top voted map gets played then at least the 2nd ranked map and maybe even, god forbid, 3rd ranked map gets played as the subsequent maps? No, of course not. Did you ever stop to think the Metro whores watch for the vote time like hawks while other people are busy trying to have a good time and play and do not even get a chance to vote because they missed it? Of course not, it's just Metro is what everyone wants!! A small conquest version of Metro with the biggest choke points of any map in the entire game, AFK or be part of the meat grinder for 700 tickets, woo yeah!
If you were so confident about your servers ability to keep it populated and the quality of the players on it are you now telling me that if you deny people their Metro crack for 2 maps the server will somehow empty and never be used again? If so it speaks volumes about the 'community' that you want to culture.
Any system that let's the same map be played over and over and over is trash. It's not Metro, something different at least once, Metro, something different at least once. It's Metro, Metro, Metro.
But what do you care as long as you can farm your points and keep people in the server, you do not. Hence why I will find another server with a half intelligent rotation instead of the one which aims to do nothing but provide a consistent flow of nab Sub Rank 10 players you can stack teams against and farm points to your hearts content.
247 had some good players but it provides a varied, decent and balanced environment in which one can play for a small % of the time. Otherwise it has a map rotation of 2, Bazaar and Metro, the latter being over-played to obnoxious levels.
The best games I have played have been with somewhat balanced teams in the periods where a half decent map rotation runs because even if the teams are stacked, 9 times out of 10 a new map comes on and it either balances or sways the other way. Not while it runs like it does now.
As I said, do you care? Nope. Do I care? Nope, I'll find another server with other priorities than keeping it full with 1 map to farm out points. I'll whine about it as much as I damn well please though, especially when complaints from anyone about Metro being played out over and over is met with "Don't like it, leave" and "We pay for the server and put the time in so screw you" "Server is always full so you wont be missed" Really? That is your casual friendly community server? Yeah, I'll pass thanks.
