Indeed, but they're both still forced upon people. Female genital mutilation is part of religion in a lot of regions of Africa too.

The pain of the nerve endings in the head of the penis dying from over stimulation is off the charts, never mind that the head is then numb and unable to feel sexual pleasure in any way like it was designed to, similar to the circumcision of women.

I've done a teeny bit of work with the people at Forward, they're doing a lot of work in Bristol around this issue.

It needs talking about, it needs people being educated about it. Its sickening and disgusting, and needs to be stopped.

You do know that the foreskin has its uses don't you? Like protecting the urinary meatus for example. I understand circumcision is needed in some instances such as extreme cases of balanitis etc.

Parents should be condemned for unnecessarily mutilating their child over religious grounds. I whole heartedly believe its a form of child abuse and completely unnecessary.
