Afternoon guys, I need a mat to go underneath my chair as my wooden floor is getting absolutely wrecked from the castors. I have no idea what's good and what's not so any info and links to products would be much appreciated because the floor is slowly starting to look like a right mess.

I have no ide awhat i'm looking for but would like something that's good quality and will last, don't want to buy cheap and buy twice. Had a quick browse on eBay and found this:

Will that do for my needs or is it just some eBay tat.

Thanks.

Sorry to sound like a retarded but I can't find it for the life of me. The IKEA website is just an absolute mess to browse through, mind linking me please?

I have no idea where I bought mine, but the one piece of advice I can give is - don't buy one with little dots underneath to stop it from sliding around, as they very quickly bury into the wood and leave indentations on your flooring!

I have a really soft wood floor (can't remember the type off wood), basically it marks really easy and if you're on your chair and moved about it indents the wood and leaves tracks. Would it be wise getting different casters? I would have thought one of these solid mats would do.

Wood floor casters don't work always. The soft rubber still picks up bits of grit, which will then scratch and dent. Personally I would get a rug or just take your weight off the chair when you move it.

I use a cleartex matt on carpetted floor and its been really good. It has started to crack though but I have a spare they sent when I first mentioned that in Jan(it was a year old then).
