I've never downloaded anything with my 50mb broadband however I really must secure my network as there seems to be a couple of cars parking outside my house with people using laptops inside.

I was only citing the rule, not whether the rule had validity or not. I would agree that many low level profanities are more or less accepted today whereas they were not 50 years ago.
