150 pound gfx card for this system, advice appreciated

Hi all,

Looking to upgrade the gfx card on my current system and was looking for some advice.

I've got around 150 quid to spend, and here's what I currently have.

Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz @ 4.00GHz
6GB RAM
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Cooler Master Elite 335U Case - Black
750W PSU

Any ideas?

I would say maybe a HD6950 or 6970.

The specs say it supports long graphics cards like the 6990, so you should in theory be fine with a 6950.
