Technically they arrived yesterday, but I only opened them today and seeing as I bought the RAM from OCUK, I hope we can let it slide. :D

If my 'rigourous' benchmarking is correct this funky new samsung stuff already gives me an extra couple of frames per second in X3 Terran Conflict. Should I start overclocking my AMD APU...

Who would have thought it would get to this size when we started with CompactFlash.

It is crazy when you think of it, CompactFlash 1GB comparison below which was in one of the very first digital cameras i had, compared to the 32GB MicroSDHC received today, just goes to show how far technology has come :)

I just got these today so I can use my headphones on my XBox, I'm really happy with how good they sound, and the quality.

I may build a full mini stack system from Pro-Ject now

the bloke who has it started playing hardball asking silly money for it, so I told him to foxtrot oscar, this one was £320 so perfectly acceptable compromise, leaves me with £500 of spare cash to blow this weekend - good times

thought I'd chance my arm with mildly illegal spacing too, see how long I get away with it!

oh and it's actually a cornish reg so I'm most happy with that!

Bit of a tip - put the spacing back to what it should be. DVLA have been having a purge recently and will prosecute if provided with evidence by the Police. They can and have revoked registration numbers as well.

I consider car maintenance costs as a learning experience too because I sit, watch and ask questions to my mechanic to understand htf it all works and is fitted together and see how it's done so I can potentially save on labour costs next time round :p

Yeah that is a fair point! I've never really needed to do any DIY maintenance before. Except on a mower, but id be fairly confident on the simple things. Filters, oil etc.

Meant to be a cambelt change due too. Been quoted an added £299 at some point :(
