I've had my Sky upgraded today and it's a decent speed at the router, but with my devolo 85 homeplugs that I've had for a number of years there is clearly now a bottleneck, therefore looking for a recommended vendor etc. for the homeplug technology.

WiFi isn't great either, but giving me about 21Mbps download etc.

Are you sure? Because even 85mbps rated homeplugs would need to be running at 50% speed or less to have an effect? Any idea what sort of speeds you are getting?

For any Homeplug connection you're normally only going to see about 25% of the rated speed (in one direction).

The TP-Link adapters that OcUK sell (AV200 or AV500) are as good as any.

The choice between AV200 and AV500 will depend on how much you're willing to spend, and how fast the WAN connection actually is.

Cheers

Been looking at TP range etc.

Connection is reporting about 30Mbps with the router reporting 40
