How well can you read people?

Joxang likes gaming and first aid, netsex with webcams, and black people and compression artefacts.

Seriously though Joxang comes across as balanced, sharp, however I seem to remember he likes drilling glass.

Likes to mess around, tries to annoy people, is a attention seeker.

Yes, no, yes :)

Thought I'd do the OP. Shayper has energy in abundance, almost too much sometimes like Tigger from Winnie The Pooh. Friends will describe him as the life and soul of events and parties but also note that he is permanently 'on' which can be too much at times. Creative and loud, he craves fun and loves talking to anyone who will listen. He has been called 'hyper' by at least 10 people in his adult life. On the rare occasions he is not 'on' he is almost unrecognisable. Quiet, introspective, closed. Quick to anger. His friends think that he is a very good friend to have but they don't always say this and he worries about it, as he worries about many things.

^ Considered and intelligent but also playful and silly. Cares about what strangers think of him but pretends not to. Has a good sense of humour and uses that to engage people both socially and in a work environment. Very happy to stand his ground if he thinks he's right but equally happy to put his hands up if he's wrong. Trustworthy and dependable.

That's very flattering indeed Magnolia. I'd like all of that to be true! Although it is easier to portray yourself as a better person on forums than you really are. Thank you very much!

Tingle.. I can now cook bacon - I made a BLT sandwich last night with streaky bacon cooked in the oven. It was perfect. :)

Edit : I don't know that it's fair to say Magnolia tries to annoy people - if you do say it then it's in a cheeky way, not done to cause angst, offence or unhappiness.

I don't think this concept takes into account that people behave differently on the internet compared to real life.

I think the concept is 'call it as you see it' which would cover your point - which I agree with by the way but not in all cases - nicely.

You look nice tonight. Did you do something with your hair?

i can usually get a good bearing of a person within the first minute, sometimes less, of meeting them and it usually runs true.

I've often wondered if we all make the same decisions about a person... so we end up shoehorning that person into that personality. That way it reinforces the stereotypes we make based on an appearance, and we encourage people to conform to them. So someone who looks a bit feral and ratty, for example, is going to end up being untrustworthy because they'll get treated that way.

Bloody hell... I don't know what to say.

Like a book.

This is a really good thread!

I can't read people very well I'm afraid and haven't been on here long enough to. Very entertaining stuff.

I'll keep this one intentionally brief.

Goes from supreme highs to lows that he can't even fathom. Gives up more easily than he wants to but is defensive about that choice.

Is probably not as weird in real life, but still somewhat eccentric. Doesn't have a massive group of friends but also doesn't really care. Quick to make a judgement and will stick by it most of the time. Enjoys reading people.

You are welcome. How close was I with the '10 people have called you hyper in your adult life' comment? This was the only one I wasn't sure about. Share if you can, tell me to **** off I you can't :)

Probably more than double that :p

Yes, no. No, yes (if that were the case). Definitely yes, and yes again. Finally yes.

I don't think you want me to 'do' you :)
