The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Dear lord, so much moaning and whining about the Jubilee on here. Moan moan moan.

Just go and do something else you enjoy. It's like attending a concert simply to boo.

i came into this thread for the first time today, having been out to the Thames yesterday.

i was expecting some pictures / banter and gags on Philip, will's wifey (i would) etc.

what i find is garbage posts about idiotic flag waving, chav scum etc.

sadly i wont be back into this thread, have fun with your 'debates on the monarchy' and 'i cant type on my iPad'

I'm off to watch a once in a lifetime concert on BBC, with a beer, with happyness in my heart, that i can share this moment with my wife and three kids

I don't think it's moaning about the jubilee itself, more about the lame coverage - ooohhhh Tess daly tries some cake LOL.

I'm not sure how you derived that from my comment. No, I am not suggesting the royal family break the law.

Erm...

Equality before the law, also known as legal equality, is the principle under which all people are subject to the same laws of justice (due process).[1] All are equal before the law.

Now considering you just said

Similarly, I have even less for liberals who hypocritically defend the monarchy even though it flies in the face of one of the fundamental principles of their professed ideology: equality before the law.

So I'm now asking you why you think the royal family are treated differently in the eyes of the law.

While Joe public pentioner sit in a doctors waiting room, get antibiotics and sent home or if it's just a little worse 6hr waiting in A&E then sent home

My medical friend say otherwise, but ok...;)

Working, you think he works? :o

Well he spends a large portion of his time going to functions round the country in his role as Duke of Edinburgh so yes I would say so.
