Okay I brought a 7600gt at the weekend at a bargin from a shop... I've brought it home and fitted it to my p8p67 pro board and it doesn't seem to fit its like it's not sitting level the part towards the middle of the mobo is higher then the part to the edge I've pushed it in any more and I'd be forcing it, any ideas it does seem the edge is very close to the little clip so would removing a bit from the edge of the card help? I've had the mobo out and tried it too it's driving me mad

DO NOT REMOVE PART OF THE GFX CARD

Seriously, just don't!.

Leave it till tomorrow & come back to it after a nights sleep, trying to force it now is a recipe for disaster.

ive been taking it out and trying different slots and alsorts i thought maybe a insane method might be a better aproach ive been trying a few hours a day since friday yet on my other motherboard some old piece of **** it slides in like a dream

Please remove the competitor name from your post.

Do not do anything to the graphics card.

Are you sure you didn't buy an AGP card by mistake?

I was hoping you'd reply but you've logged out without doing so.

Motherboards haven't had AGP slots for a few years.

This may be why the card fits in your old motherboard and not your new one.

If it's an AGP card it simply won't work.

Take it back and get a refund/exchange if you can.

You need a PCI-Express graphics card.

yeah haha, i should really read into things before i jump in head first with these things!
i should be able too if not it can go in the other motherboard :D
thanks for the help
