Is there any info on the vehicles? It looks like a M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and its russian equivalent. The tank looks like a BMD-4 or 2S25 Sprut-SD.
How would the spawning of the c-130 air dropping kit work? Could there be a commander feature on the way? With the air drop as commander tool.

So how many actualy bought b2k? Not got free via pre order or ltd edition.

I did, got BF3 late and missed the freebie, then paid £12 for three of the worst maps from BF2. My piles are still sore, I will not be going premium. That said I cannot find the packs as singles anywhere on EA's system anymore.

Another 2GB patch, presumably includes the Close Quarters DLC. By the time they release all the DLC this game will be way too big for my SSD and I probably wont even buy any of the DLC!!

This whole just-in-it-for-the-money style of game making is really screwing up PC FPS. What happened to developers making a game they could be proud of...

Its not just FPS games.

Look at the amount of DLC they've released for Forza for example

so if i get this premium thing do i get early access to this close quarters DLC ? if so when... ?

7 days time for close quarters. It's not released to non premium for another 3 weeks

Where can I see how much kills I need to get in order to unlock weapon camouflage.

You don't. This months drops are camo for 4 weapons.

L96' PKP, F2000' and the Scar-H.

Currently no other weapons have camo. If you want to unlock some more tags, then those are under assignments.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

I want to use the new weapons and maps.

But I don't agree with EA's new policies in terms of DLC and other content.

When I first bought the game I wasn't aware of the possible future of a premium service.

Games have been having expansion packs since, forever, even 1942 had two at £20 a piece!

I think it's a bargain, for the sheer amount of hours I play the dam game :)

Same.

should have known really though - EA.

Why are the yanks getting it much cheaper then us, can't we just buy it for 49.99 dollars?

Why do we have to pay 60 dollars for it?

In unrelated news, I need your guys help.

I haven't unlocked the MK3A1 yet. Wondering if anyone here would go into an empty gulf of Oman server and die a few times.

Anyway here is the official Close Quarters playing tips video, which is the first 'Premium' content video you get when you pay. Seems that EA made it very easy to download so not really sure what the point of watching it on Battlelog is as it takes ages to be able to watch.

I've bought it, figured I'm going to be playing the game for a while and will end up buying all the DLC as more and more servers will start requiring them to play.

Meh, I've nearly 300hrs sunk into BF3 but I'm not paying for more content and neither are we updating our server.

Hopefully Planetside 2 will be going beta soon to fulfill our FPS cravings and we can leave BF3 in the dust!
