PC games have been had "add on packs" available almost since the dawn of PC gaming. Only difference is now we download them as DLC instead of buying them in a box which we put on a shelf for 10 years :D
 
It costs more than the actual game did, are you really getting your monies worth?

This is why gaming is going downhill so fast, people will spend their money on anything if you advertise it well enough and so companies can get away with making crappy products and still sell loads before everyone realizes it's bug-ridden rehashed **** you're bored with in 4 hours, or in this case paying for virtual items that are either unnecessary or should have been included in the first place. Then they'll buy the exact same thing from the exact same company next year and so on.

Not to mention that you can pay to unlock everything which is quite frankly disgusting.

Raven, was it you or a different Raven playing on Matts server last night? I was having a sniper battle with some RavenV something.

Also I went and got Premium. At the end of the day I probably would have bought the DLC anyway, so might as well.

Gaming isn't going down hill. its just producing games you don't enjoy because its not original enough for you or whatever.

I wasn't bored within 4 hours, neither are millions of other players. You can't tell people what they should or shouldn't enjoy.

If BF3 is too shallow and not in depth enough, fine. Go and play a game like planetside that is more to your taste.

what difference does that make ? I still paid £45 for extra BF2 content, as did many others. This works out cheaper for me, as i get 4 DLCs instead of 3, and its cheaper than the £45 i paid for 3 BF2 expansions.

I'm afraid that was a different raven. The other raven rarely graces us with his presence im afraid.

Don't buy it then? For the amount that moan all the time, there are just as many who actually enjoy the game.
