I've never built a system before so originally wanted it built for me.

Long story short I want max settings at 1920x1080 no peripherals needed I've bought all them already from overclockers, no sound card needed either.

Last thread got deleted, apologies to anyone I offended by the offer. It was only meant as a thank you for the help so far.

Anyway Suggestions welcome also any thoughts on this?

£820 cpu is overkill imho, & only comes with a 5450 gfx.

This has 680 gfx for similar price. And id phone & ask for a

OCZ Vertex 4 256GB to be installed.

Lemin may I please ask why you would choose the vertex 4 over the 3? they seem to have the same read speed but the 3 has a faster write speed.

Feeling lazy. Can't remember what I said last time so:

Apart from gaming, what else will this system be used for?
As Lemin rightly pointed out, there is no need to spend £2500, unless you want to use 3 monitors.

To be honest that Kraken thing I just posted seems to be pretty darn decent even for that money. With £2500 you even have room for peripherals and such.

The i5-3750k is more than enough for gaming.
Mobo has a very good onboard sound system, good OC`er and will handle sli if you wish to dual card.
Psu is overkill for a single card, but is sli capable and modular.
Case is subject to your preference.
Cooler comes very highly recommended.
Good Ssd for your OS and games.
Included a 1TB Hdd for storage, you can use your external drive for backup.
Gpu is fairly good, although you can change it for one of your choice.
Also included an OS, unless you already have one, in which case disregard.

In all honesty if I had to buy the parts how difficult is it to put together or would you not suggest it?

I was looking at there system configurator which seems to be good but I would want to change a couple of things they don't offer on the configurator. would they be willing to do that?

i have to say that putting the computer together is simple if your that way inclined, i built my first about a month ago, it was great fun. if your not comfortable doing it yourself then id suggest getting overclockers to build one for you and for £2500 worth of kit i dont think you need to worry about being able to play any current game at 1920x1080. my build cost me £1k and i can play the games i want at max graphics at 1920x1080

Fairly easy and i would highly recommend it. For the satisfaction, alone.

The feeling you get when the first pc you build turns on is just something else :p

Take a look at the system build guide at the top of general hardware its pretty great :D
