Max Payne 3 Crashing at the end of chapter 12

As the title says my game crashes at the end of chapter 12 cutscene. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to see a guy sitting in a car for two seconds at the beginning of chapter 13.

I've tried dropping it from DX11 to DX9
Running as administrator
Removing V-sync and AA.
Played through the level in safe mode.
Updated via patch.

I think you may have a corrupt save. I've had loads of problems with checkpoints and reloads.

Just keep at it, anyway eventually when you die enough you will start with a few pain killers and given their are two pain killers in the cabinet before the armoured ass-hole you should have enough to take him down, just get those dual pistols going.
