In your opinion will there be a converter for iMac 2011 for thunderbolt input

Because lets face it, its been a year now since we've seen the technology and the iMac is 12 months old.

I am not to high up on all the tech reasons why not but I guess its regarding intel locking the technology down? Or is it just not even possible.

Really quite depressing as I don't have a full HD tv and I never enjoyed the console on the TV anyway but I did at my desk. I felt more comfortable on a smaller screen at my desk and so the iMac was perfect.

Heres hoping!

Uh? You want something like hdmi to thunderbolt input for the iMac??

Thought you could just use a hdmi to displayport to get input like that... (I think that's what the pre TB iMac's allowed)

Doesn't work on the new ones. No idea why, but it doesn't.

Its something to do with not being able to force the iMac into display input mode isn't it?
