Battery drain in 1.5 hours from charge

i have a samsung galaxy S2

since i upgraded to ICS the battery has been terrible

but now, all of a sudden, its empty after 1.5 hours from a full charge ..

i guess its new battery time but could something else be causing this ?


edit:

reading that a lot of people have battery problems with ICS.. how do i go back to previous version ?

Have you tried wiping the battery stats and doing the uncharge/full charge?

Helped boost mine a little when i upgraded to 4.0.4
 
Sounds like you've got a battery hungry app to be honest.

I don't see any difference in battery life between GB & ICS if I'm quite honest!

Backup all your photos & whatever else you have saved on your phone & do a full factory reset. Wiping battery stats won't make a difference.

What are those 2 icons at the top? I know the one is energy saving & the other is screenshot.

But the shield type thing & circle with ! ?

Those shots aren't showing the battery at full charge.
 
one is telling me my phone memory is getting full

not sure what the other is, but its always been there and never had this problem ..

i have not installed any apps in the last few weeks... its as its been for ages and problems started since ICS

i think i might back up and restore phone back to factory settings but i ordered a new battery just incase first, before i do that but it wont arrive for a few days

it doesnt show it is, but it is... i might get 3 hours if im lucky....

i bought a new battery to illiminate that its not a bad battery before i do anything else

If it's happened since upgrading to ICS, then it's unlikely to be a battery problem.

No. i was going to try a new battery before doing that

does a factory reset mean i have to install all my apps again one by one ? and set the phone up again from scratch ?

it seems the battery wont charge past 38% now :( which i assume must be a battery issue ?

I clicked on it. just says
cpu total 1m 18sec
keep awake 41 sec

and a whole list of included packages
