I could tell you lots of places to avoid :) (most notably St Helens)

Latest rumours doing the rounds in Wigan: Jeff Lima to South Sydney for next year and Brett Finch to another unnamed SL club.

Losing Leuluai and Finch all at once is going to leave a pretty big hole

That would seem an odd move by Finch, unless its for a bigger pay check (it surely can't be "to win trophies"!), but I don't know to who it would be. Leeds? Wire? Hmmmm. Who would have space on the cap?

Rovers pulled out of the Shenton deal from what I've heard, I think the board (in their words) don't want to be "held to ransom".

In a pub in Warrington surrounded by Wire fans, wearing my Rovers shirt, and having a victory pint! That was absolutely fantastic! Its why I love Rugby League and Hull KR! Victories don't come much sweeter than that.

Take that Seymour, you cocky t***! Should get an Oscar for that performance.

Nice victory for the wire! So what do folks think of the Kevin brown to widnes move announced yesterday? 4 year deal and transfer fee involved!

Got to say I think it's a big risk, with only 2 years of their licence left, they would appear to be banking on retaining it after that period.

Bloody relieved actually - there were rumours linking him to Wigan. Leuluai and Finch out, Brown in - that would be an outstanding bit of business. Jamie Soward (St George) to Wigan is another rumour that won't go away

Just got back from the Etihad. I think its fair to say that I enjoyed that :)

Well Salford seem to be on a giant felling spree! Another impressive scalp taken by the minnows.

I also see the Bulls are still in significant financial trouble with actually a further £1.25M required! Eeek.

Hull KR take on Warrington today, which the smart money will go to a Wire win. But, this year Wire have shown they are susceptible to the banana skin slip ups and if we play at the top of our game we are more than capable of winning the game. Quite a full strength squad again (not that that mattered against Wigan!) but our halves have been playing well and our forwards were great against FC, so I expect a competitive performance.

Still living on a high after that fantastic Dave Hodgson try. Brilliance.

Amazing climax! Followed it on twitter and I was hitting F5 like mad!

You don't like the BBC radio commentary? I am certainly going to make my presence felt at work in Warrington next week! Hahaha!

Mika had a shocking first half and apparently more than redeemed himself in the second.

We've got guests staying so didn't think it was fair to make them listen along.

I'm unfortunately off work next week so won't get chance to rub some noses :o)

Where abouts in Warrington do you work?

Birchwood Science Park.

Used to work there for Applied Biosystems. You have my sympathies. :D

Just returned from Stobart Stadium, and Widnes' victory over Huddersfield, made all the sweeter by the fact that Hudders were playing proper dirty. :D For instance, their number 3 Cudjoe was throwing out punches in tackles during the 2nd half left, right and centre, and it was pretty bloody obvious to both the crowd and the linesman, yet nothing was done. The standard of the refereeing in general was shockingly biased it seemed, and I don't think we could be blamed for making a complaint to the RFL as it seems to be happening all too often to Widnes.

Are we expected to put up with this just for being the new guys in Superleague?

It was a fantastic game for us. The last 15 minutes were given to them over and over again by the ref giving awful decisions. I thought he would cost us the win we deserved. That final try was crazy. The players were clearly rattled by the ref and powered through. Atmosphere was great. Loved it!

Oh indeed. That final try was tremendous, and the atmosphere in it's wake was just electric. I'll admit to being rather hoarse at the moment due to roaring like a ******* warlock in the north stand. :D

Seeing a team play as dirty as Giants did, then lose to a final minute try restores your faith that there might just be a little bit of justice in this world.

I quite enjoy working there! Its a pleasant business park.

I still think we ought to have 2 referees like they do in the NRL. Sure it may cost a little more money but they also need to find some more refs that are up to the standard required. Its a tough job being a rugby league referee, theres a lot to be looking out for on each play.

Disgraceful performance from Bradford. Guys looked knackered after 5 minutes. Saints did the basic stuff well.

Gutted.

Been there, done that and got the ttshirt....twice!

Got hammered at Murrayfield then a week later at their place we got hammered again. Its a good job we have restored some pride though because Saints just cant beat us at home.

Finch leaving Wigan at the end of the season is now confirmed on the Wigan site. At least he's going back to Aus (Melbourne is the rumour) and won't end up in a Saints shirt. Mmmm, if he's going to Melbourne, what's happening to the young English stand off they have?

Just got back from an internet and newspaper free week in the sun (Tenerife). What's going on with the England team? Aren't Goulding and Charnley the most prolifiic centre/wing pair in SL?
