1600Mhz 32gb vs 2133Mhz 16gb

If it's purely for high end gaming:

1600mhz is the sweet spot. Any higher speeds will have very little/no improvements. And going at higher speeds will also mean looser timings, which could counter any improvements it could have gained. No point having more than 8gb RAM, you only need more if you do a lot of HD video editing/virtual machines.

For high end gaming the main thing to concentrate on is the CPU and GPU. So save yourself the money to spend on these areas instead.

Definitely the 2133mhz kit, CAS9 vs CAS10 and higher speed to boot. Also bear in mind if you have Win7 Home Premium you can't address over 16GB RAM anyway.

Personally, I'd get some cheaper RAM anyway and put the savings towards a better GPU which will make far more difference to gaming performance.

I would just go for 2133MHz as that's the sweet spot before it starts to have little affect on performance. 2133MHz @ 8 or 9CAS and tune from there will be a good idea.

2133mhz defo. 8gb sticks can be problematic and you certainly dont need that much RAM to play games.

I'd stick with a maximum of 16GB for games, 8Gb would likely be enough.

As you seem to have a Sandy Bridge system (unless you've changed it in the last few months) I wouldn't worry about high speed RAM as it doesn't make a lot of difference.

If you fancy messing around with higher speeds then get some Samsung Green and see what you can get out of it.
