I think the apology has been made, however I'd welcome this as a clear sign that Jaffa wants to give something back to the community he so cruelly deceived. Hovis btw. Wholemeal.

I remember the original thread and thanks for the apology Jaffa Okay it may not have been £268k (i.e. more than the quarter-mil in Deal or no Deal), but £3k is still a respectable amount.

I've had the Jubilee week off and luck has been the opposite for me. I've lost both my desktop PC and my laptop PC. I posted on the graphics section of this site and diagnosed it down to the GPU (for my desktop PC). Bought a 2nd-hand Geforce 8500 and it turned out that the fan bearings had gone. Currently in a dispute with the seller. To top it off, my boiler also went All of this in my week off. Thankfully a friend has lent me their Latitude D360 so that's what I'm typing on at the moment.
