hi all

just added an additional card to my rig:

my mo board is gigabyte x58a-ud3r, i7 930 o/c @ 4.0ghz and 3x2gb corsair ram.

the second card i have just added is an ati 5770 vapour-x. but it is larger than the one i already have. is this common? new revision?

since i installed this card both in pcie16x i am getting a rippled effect running down my screen. the bridge is connected on the one nearest to the back plate. hardware all shows up as it should, crossfire is enabled in ati catalyst. all seems fine apart from this rippled effect down the screen.

anyone had similar problem or any ideas to try correct this?

cheers all

Vsync is already on! also maybe i should point out this this problem is on my desktop, not running games.

does anyone one have any further ideas? im really lost here:(

flog the both of them and get a 7850? It would beat the both cards and you an overclock the nuts off these cards to get even better boosts.

might not be such a bad idea! only just brought the second one!lol

any preference to wich 7850 is the best to get or would i be better of with an nvidia for the same price bracket?
