Birthday Blast thru Wales

Thought some car people might appreciate the plan.

Its my birthday in 3 weeks and ive decided rather than go for the usual guff you get im going to gather in some cash and do a 2x day blast through Wales.

Go the idea of a couple of websites.

Starting in the south will do the Black Mountain Pass up to the Elan Valley, up round Snowdon to the Evo Triangle and then do the pass of Llanberis route before going back over the top of wales for some brief tunnel noise blasting and motorway back home.

Anyone done similar?

Been for a blast in wales a couple of times, but never over two days.

I cooked a new set of pads on one side of evo triangle - full on smoke etc. Great fun

A set of pads in 1 day doing the evo triangle, did you do 2000 laps or something?

No, one side. 1/3 of it!!

they were cheap nasty pads and I was pushing incredibly hard, attempting to keep up with a friend with infinitely more talent than I.

Ah yes, forgot to mention. Will be the first proper blast for the RS4. Done about 4k miles in it of day to day with occasional motorway. Gonna take her somewhere proper to see whats what.

Not sure I'll ever take it on a track, lunching tyres and brakes aint a cheap pastime.

And when I say blast, I probably mean more, spirited drive where appropriate taking in scenery, good roads etc. Im not planning on looning it and dying in a blaze of glory.
