Guys,

Can you please comment on the build quality and longevity of your laptops? Am tempted to buy an optimus III from a certain retailer but can't make my mind up about the machines themselves.

I have a feeling I'll kick myself for getting rid of my desktop, but I just don't use it anymore and spend all my time on my trusty D630.
 
I've been using a Clevo M860TU based custom laptop for roughly 2 years without any issues so far (other than the webcam being naff). I've had a bit of experience with a few laptops based on clevo chassis and not run into any real problems so far.
 
I have a 150WHR I think (6990m versions) must say the build is very very solid, it is rather heavy and the charger is a fricking brick so not protable at all. But overally as a gaming/media powerhouse its amazing and the prices cant be beat.
 
A question, did you import yours? Or is it possible to buy retail in this country.

I know competitors can't be named.
