VTX3D HD 7950 Opinions??

I saw this for £250 but I've heard that the cooler on the 7850 is rubbish so I'm assuming it's going to be the same for that card.

I have this card and I have to say it's cracking. Mine does 1200/1600@1175mV easily safe giving 2101 in Heaven (1080p/Normal Tess/4xAA) which speaks for itself (ie - trashes 7850/70, beats stock 670/7970) I run 1100/1600@1070mV 24/7 and temps are good, idles 30-35 @ 30% fan and loads around 60s at less than 45% fan which is silent.. Oh and the warranty is good through OCuK too.

On offer at the moment which seems like a pretty good price... But I know nothing about the company and how good their non-reference design is!

Any information on warranty, quality and performance?

Thanks

VTX are part of the same group that includes Powercolor in their line up, not supposed to be known as budget exactly but moreso to offer better value (if that makes sense).

i have a 7970 by the same brand and its a fantastic overclocker!!!!

althought its a silicon lottery as always

I also have this 7950, it's been brilliant so far, running it at 1000MHz core (I cant remember off the top of my head what the memory is clocked to) at stock voltage. Never seems noisy or goes above 70C in intensive games.

Hmm just noticed the stock settings are the same as my Powercolor 7950PCS+ and it also has a non reference cooler.
The difference though is that the VTX is over £90 cheaper than what I paid.
I say buy it at that price.
