GTA:IV - 32 man Cannonball Run - Tomorrow night

I have been having so much fun, finally playing this on my decent spec PC, but there's no one online. How does an epic session of free race / cannonball run tomorrow night sound?

Just say if you want to do it, and I will create some sort of list. I would imagine it would take place at around 10pm.

I would be up for this at some point, I did find there is a big lack of online user base, especially when you consider the multiplayer mod for San Andreas is booming.

Probably because San Andreas is a good game and IV is horrid.

The obvious way to organise this would be via a steam group. Just a small thing for this express purpose I think is fine and can be deleted later in order not to fragment the larger ocuk group. I find the large groups dont really allow easy setup for games like on this thread but a small one would work. Im downloading gta anyhow now

Do I need the Social Club installed to play multiplayer? It automatically installed, Games for Windows decided that I didn't need it and took it off.

But when trying to access Multiplayer via the phone, it tells me I need the Social Club installed.

Ok, so I have a feeling that with all the different setups and whatnot, this is going to be lots of fun to get going.

Does anybody have any ideas? I sort of assumed that everyone played this through Steam, for some reason.

EDIT: If this is a GFWL game, can we just follow each other through that, if we add one another as friends?

Just in case, my live ID is 'UberNaffa'.

But if it turns out that no one can do it tonight, this could just be a springboard for a game next week.

OK... so I've been trying to connect to Live for 10 minutes - usually I have absolutely NO problems with Live!

So... unless it magically decides to connect in the next couple of minutes... maybe another time!
