I said the same to the guy that told me about it! The RFL have not exactly promoted this too much.

I was looking at buying an Exiles top too so its win win for myself :D

EDIT: Just found out the one i got was a student ticket, the adult version is £44........ still a bargin tbh!

Yeah seen the price, thought you were a kid haha. still a bargin though eh, whats an England top going for 40-50 quid? Still awesome either way.

Just spotted Willie Poching, Francis Cummins and Tony Smith having a coffee in Esquires in Wakefield.

Wonder who they're looking at buying.

Rangi Chase?

[edit]Daryl Clark?

Cant see it being Clark as he's on contract until 2017. Chase might be a safer bet, i reckon they will be looking at someone to replace Briers as he's coming to an end of his career.

Didn't Chase also recently sign an extension?

Don't know if you remember Newse? He reckons both could move for ~£650k (but that would be the end of his season ticket)

Fantastic news regarding Shannon McDonnell, Rovers in form full back. He has been called up to the Exiles squad following Brett Hodgsons injury. Without a doubt, Shannon McDonnell is the best full back in SuperLeague, apart from Sam Tomkins. I really do believe that, last 3-4 games he has been absolutely brilliant and thoroughly deserves his place in the Exiles team.

Rumour has it also that after rejecting a contract offer a few weeks ago he has now signed a 2 year deal for Hull KR. Seemingly the board have improved the contract offer. I know I don't pay his wages, but he really does deserve it. Class act.

I'm still a bit unhappy about this England squad selection. The Rangi debate aside, isn't there like 6 Leeds players in the squad? This doesn't look to me to be going on current form, rather past reputations. Not having a dig at Leeds here, but perhaps there are other players out there that are perhaps more deserving given their current form.

Teams for Saturdays game:

England: S Tomkins (Wigan); J Charnley (Wigan), C Ablett (Leeds), R Atkins (Warrington), R Hall (Leeds); K Sinfield (Leeds), R Chase (Castleford); E Crabtree (Huddersfield), J Roby (St Helens), J Peacock (Leeds, capt), G Hock (Wigan), D Tickle (Hull), S O'Loughlin (Wigan)
Replacements: R Burrow (Leeds), G Carvell (Warrington), L Mossop (Wigan), J Jones-Buchanan (Leeds)

Exiles: S McDonnell (Hull KR); J Monaghan (Warrington), S Soliola (St Helens), D Millard (Catalan), F Meli (St Helens); T Leuluai (Wigan, capt), S Dureau (Catalan); T Puletua (St Helens), L Hohaia (St Helens), J Lima (Wigan), W Manu (Hull), T Waterhouse (Warrington), D Fa'alogo (Huddersfield)
Replacements (from): A Laffranchi (St Helens), A Kaufusi (London), D Faiumu (Huddersfield), E Lauaki (Wigan)

If England score a try, be sure to have a book ready for when Tickle is setting up his conversion. They take a while....

Aren't Leeds the current Champions? ;)

McDonnell looks good, but I don't think he's close to being the best, even after Tomkins.

Leeds WERE the champions! :)

Come the end of the season, if McDonnell keeps up his current form, I would say that he is the best "attacking full back". Obviously he is a very different type of full back to that of Paul Wellens or Shaun Briscoe, but that type of defensive full back is turning into a thing of the past, with the Tomkins-Slater esque full back proving the more popular tactic.

Oh, sorry, who is it now? I thought they were super league and world club challenge holders. I must be mistaken.

Steve mac is the worst thing that ever happened to the bulls, i long for the days when nobby was in charge, stuart fielden and jamie peacock smashing folk all over, the volcano running people ragged and then stampeding over them. God i miss success

Its certainly gonna be a few years until success comes back! :-(

A very very long road back to any kind of success.

And Carl Ablet!?!?! I mean, how did Mac come up with that?

is it april 1st today?

Ryan Hall is the best winger in the world

He is certainly a brilliant winger, best in the world? quite possibly. I like his game, he seems to squeeze tries in left right and centre when lesser mortal players cant even get close. As a bradford fan saying that i feel dirty lol. he is without doubt one of the best seen in the UK. Has the pace, handling skills and defence when needed.

Is Cummins at Warrington as well now, with Poching and Smith? He was at Bradford last time I heard from him.

And on the best winger in the World debate - Hall is definitely up there, along with Nightingale, Hayne, Boyd and (possibly) Uate.

I find it strange that Hall is quite often said to be the best winger in the World but at the same time Tomkins has to play in the NRL to prove he's the best full back.
