My graphics card used to run at 100% but most of the time now I only see it run at 80%.

Any idea what could be causing this?
Monitoring it with afterbuner.

It's depending on what game you play. Some games are more CPU demanding than the others and your CPU is may be not keeping up thus bottleneck your card.
 
What games and what res you playing at?

This gives us a better idea whether it just different games demand or the fact that other part of your system is now bottlenecking your graphics card.
