Don't suppose much I can do about this annoyance?

Well, finally settled on 670 sli after years of amd, but as per normal, it's only after a few days usage that you start doing certain things outside of the norm.

So figured I'd get my 3D monitor up and running again.

First, my main Hazro screen is connected via displayport, and after nothing but hassle with amd every time I tried to use displayport, it just works now. Yay!

But then I come to plugging in my 3D monitor via hdmi. When restarting computer, I notice I get nothing but a blank screen until windows boots.

Turns out, when not in windows, the card is not outputting to each and every monitor, but is treating hdmi connection as primary, and not outputting anything to the displayport connected monitor.

Is there anything I can do about this, or am I destined to unplug the hdmi monitor every time I want to get into my bios?

PS - this happens when hdmi simply plugged in. 2D monitor does not even need to be turned on.

Mine does the same.

I have primary via DVI and Secondary via HDMI also but only one comes on until i boot into windows itself.

are both monitors turned on when you boot up? and you get nothing on both screens until windows loads up?

Only primary monitor on when booting.

Mine does the same.

I have primary via DVI and Secondary via HDMI also but only one comes on until i boot into windows itself.

Damn, was going to try using the dvi cable instead of displayport, but seems like no point :(

Why on earth would they not simply have the card output on all connected displays at boot?
