Looking for 4 tyres for my golf in 195/50/15 before I bite the bullet and buy T1Rs is there anything that's a similar price that will be noticeably better looking to pay £45 a corner delivered.

look for part worns normal 5 mm tread about £10 for that size

Look up Kumho Ecsta, not sure if they do them in that size but if they do I think they are much better than the Toyo

However now looking at uniroyal RS2s

£47 a corner seems cheap ?

I have to pay like £140 for corner for decent tyres lol

Its probably the cheapest size to buy for, my last pair in 175/70/13 we're dearer.

Recommended by a few people on here and they seem pretty decent in both wet and dry.

I cant believe that anyone outside of grass trackers and stock car racers buy park worn tyres anymore.

I have these on my car, no qualms recommending them or trying them again, it is predictable in wet and dry and when i got it, it was about £150 cheaper for the set vs the CS. These have since gone up so the difference is less so I am tempted to try some new CS5 next.

Rainsport 2 are a lot better than premium contact 2s, the equivalent to the rainsports would be sport contact 2/3.

First time I've heard anyone say Rainsport 2 is on a par with SportContact 3. Why is this not reflected in tyre tests?

What is your source for saying they are a 'lot better' than PC2?
