hi guys,which one is best the g30 or tx-42e5b /i quite fancy the tx-l42e5b because it has a ips panel the g30 dosent but seems to have better reviews,the only real difrence i can see between them is that the tx- has a ips screen,cant decide pls help

Ok, they are completely different tvs. Completely.
The g30 is last years midrange plasma, with the 3d removed from it.
The e5b is this years panasonic offereing at entry level, using an lg led panel, this set offers 3d in a passive manner.
G30 is end of line, any items beinng offered are just what remains n stock from last years models, the e5b will have fresh stock everywhere.

To answer your question, how bright is your room and what do you use the tv for?
im in a small flat ma will be fine,jst the usall stanard tv and some bluray and hd rips,can get the 2 of them for nearly the same price but cant decide which one is the best,which ever one has the best picture with freeview
Except if you have a bright room in day light.
