Antec Kuler 920 & apache black fans

Hey guys,

I was thinking of changing the stock fans on my Kuler to the Apache Black fans and I was wondering, will these fans deliver the same performance as the stock fans? i find the stock fans to be a little on the noisey side.

Whats your thoughts?

Stock fans 700-2400rpm

Apache fans 600-1300rpm

I find it unlikely that the apache will be able to keep up with the stock fans. However it won't be much warmer, a degree or three, the noise however will be massively reduced under loading conditions.

I did exactly that, cooler and quieter. I use the MB to control the fan speeds and when not under load they run much slower an quieter than the stock fans

With fans running at 60% on cpu cooler (I have CPU RAD set up as exhaust) and rest of case

I'm getting under load (prime) 54/59 ish @ 4.5ghz and 1.2V

At stock under load (prime) 32/38 (fans at 40%)

Room temp for both around 20

will try and see what 4.6/7 will be like in the next couple of days and will update
