My system specs are in my sig and I'm going to be getting some spare cash soon so I'm thinking of building a completely new system as I have issues with live streaming (CPU intensive.)

So currently I have a 580, I got this the day they came out and have loved this card however with a new system I'm not sure if I should get a new card or two. Are the 680/690s that much of an upgrade that it's worth going for one of those? Would I be better off getting a 2nd 580? Currently run at 1920x1200, pretty much all I do is game.

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. Almost went for a GTX680 but i decided to wait and see what the GK110 brings as to be honest, BF3 plays brilliantly at the moment and i can't see any game having any issues with it at the moment.

I recon the GK110 is qoing to be very impressive. Performance wise I think it will fit in between a gtx 680 and a gtx 690. I do not think it will be anywhere as higher clocker as a gtx680/690 because of the size of the chip and the heat that goes with it but it is going to be very potent. I also bet theres not much change out of £700.

Indeed!
Though the price is debatable as the prices will most probably drop by then and the 6 series so far is dirt cheap to manufacture apparently.
I can't help but think though, that the GK110K will be left for an early 7 series release? They certainly have no need to release it any time soon since they're raking in the money and are still crowned with the fast card and single GPU (just).
In regards to the clock speeds, they wont be as high but they really don't need to be. However; tech report's speculation on it all is interesting.
