Parking at Birmingham airport?

I fly from there most weeks and tend to park on the short stay, think it costs about £22 for the day. You could park at the station and get the monorail across, think that's around £12 per day.

I'm gonna use parking at a hotel for the week we fly from there. Works out quite a bit cheaper. That or steal a secured parking space in my old office which backs onto the airfield :D

If you're going to get someone to drop off/pick up, take some change as you need it to get out.

You can use cards and also if you are quick drop off out front the 2 hotels without going into the drop off area, which is a quid minimum.

i'm flying from birmingham on the 29th and ret on the 2nd jul

i am paying £15 for the fri-mon with a shuttle bus to the airport

Airparks Birmingham Park and Ride direct on 0121 789 9323.

i just hope they haven't been on watchdog and i come back to an extra 50 miles on the clock!

Short stay not an option, going away for the week.

You can book for the week for 35-40 quid but I just wondered if anyone had any experience of these.

Long stay one is ok and thats what i use for more than a few days.

If you park near the car rental offices at the bottom corner of the the car park then you can actually walk to t1 in a few minutes which can be better than waiting for the bus.
