Turtle Beach / Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 / Bravo PX3 / Gaming Headset (PC / PS3 / Xbox 360)?

Hey all,

Does anyone own a "Turtle Beach / Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 / Bravo PX3 / Gaming Headset (PC / PS3 / Xbox 360)"?

I've been after a headset that I can use across various platforms for quite some time and have come across the above at a very reduced price. However, I do not know the make and am wondering if it's worth picking a set up.

If anyone has an experience, thoughts or feelings etc, please share :)
 
Well, I was trying to be concise as possible without linking to where I'd seen them :p

I've got a feeling that they are priced highly because of branding / silly Modern Warfare detailing but with a ton off, I thought I'd ask about :)
 
Lol just hang on there ;) I just upgraded from a creative faility headset to a turtle beach x12.... And wow :D the x12 turtle beaches have built in amp and bass booster. So in game or music is really bassy and crisp. Also to mention the build quality is amazing.
 
The ones the OP mention are the PX3's so I'm guessing (going by price) they are the next one up from the PX21's? Also they look similar to the PX21's. I have PX21's myself and they started to go bad after about 6-9 months, sound quality is ok in them, and they had a whine, cracking sound at low volumes you could heard, build quality wasn't great and they not comfortable at all for long gaming sessions. They may seem great at the start but you will soon realise that's not the case.

I replaced them with a Razer Megalodon 7.1 headset, and so far I really like them, but I need to try another 7.1 headset to compare them against.

My search for a reasonably priced multiplatform headset continues. I think I was allured by the price :p
