PLA DirectX 11 & PhysX Benchmark

Lovely looking demo.

Ran smooth as silk at max settings with no stutter, 1920x1200, 4xMSAA and Physx High on the 304.48 driver. Not sure what my score was as I had vsync on but it showed 59fps average which considering it was capped at 60 was pretty good I guess.

The textures are extremely sub-par. Could this be intentional because of the supposed memory bandwidth limits of Kepler?

Well they used quality textures on the clothes with some physx ofcourse.

great looking benchmark, works perfect in 3D too, only part i thought was weak was the phsyx

textures are fine?? besides, putting high res textures in a game would never cripple a 6xx card unless it took it over the 2GB vram limit (highly unlikely)

I'm guessing the textures have been crunched down a bit so the benchmark isn't like a 3gig download - they are adequate but a little ropey. (I did turn them upto high).

Runs very smooth for the amount of stuff onscreen tho some of the explosions seemed to be simulated at about 5fps at times I'm guessing they are using some kinda adaptive physics tickrate to attempt to keep the rendering rate above a certain level.

Rubbish benchmark is rubbish. Couldn't uninstall it quick enough. Eye candy is poor imho and why didn't it use Havok physics as well as PhysX? Nvidia funding...

Here is mine, 1920X1080, FXAA high, Textures high, PhysX Medium:

I wasn't that impressed with the graphics to be honest, sure there are some nice effects but as with all UT3 engine games the colours are washed out.
