Hello everyone,

After many threads I've posted in here I finally realised I need to upgrade. So
I've sold my i5 760, p7p55d-e and looking for upgrade.

I made a decision and bought IvyBridge i7 3770k to start with as It was latest whats available and was top CPU I could find.
Now when I need to buy a motherboard I'm little bit lost because they both almoust the same as far as I can see on specifications.Sabertooth is better looking, but V Pro looks like most Asus motherboards I've seen.

Is it worth to pay for that design and cooling stuff etc which Saber has or just go for simple one? Price difference is only around 30£ which doesn't matter for me realy as if I'm getting an upgrade I want the best on market.

If anyone could advice why should I buy V Pro or Sabertooth that would be great. They are both good motherboards.

Thanks for reading :)

I have had problems with ASUS motherboards, even though I have one now, which is a Sabertooth 990fx. My main issue is when something goes wrong they are an absolute nightmare to deal with and you have to RMA to the Czech Republic will is a total ball ache.

If your Gigabyte goes wrong, you post it to the UK.

I have the sabertooth on a new build very happy with it, the extra cooling makes a small difference, these fans can also run 10min after shutdown like psu's do now. Not sure if the dust guards will do much but it can't be bad, if you care how it looks is very smart.
