Best custom ROM for HTC Desire

OK, I ended up takeing the easiest 'root' (see what I did there :D) and rooted using Unrevoked, using the packaged ClockWorkMod recovery, and behold, I now have MildWild 4.9.1 up and working. I have to say, it's brilliant, there's so much additional functionality it's ridiculous. MS Exchange is syncing nicely too!

I do have a couple of questions...

Settings > Display seems to crash, so can't change anything in there - anyone else get this?

Is it possible to get more HTC-esque widgets? I miss the full-screen calendar one, and stuff like that. Are there further add-ons?

Enjoying my first foray into custom ROMS!

If you are prepared to use another launcher (Go Launcher EX) then the Go Calendar widget is excellent. Otherwise the Android Pro Widgets give a good calendar experience :)

That may be a ROM related problem. Post something in the thread on XDA about it.

Although it now appears that there is a new version of MildWild CM up now(currently CM5.0).
It says to do a full wipe so i'd recommend downloading Titanium Backup, backing up your apps and then flashing it.

Sorry for the bump.

Any idea what the best rom for the Desire HD is? It doesn't need to do anything flashy, something close to stock ICS or JB would be fine. Stability is the most important thing.
