My average battery life through a working day seems to be 15-18 hours now which is consistant. -91 to -97dBm for signal strength but always 4~ bars and H or H+ while at work. At home it's -70s to -81. For 10 hours or so it's solely on mobile network. At home it's on Wireless-N.
Screen on time varies between 2-4 hours.
This is with or without undervolt and overclock. I'm now running stock volts and clocks with Siyah 1.2.6. OMEGA 5.2 btw.
All games syncing as well as social apps and lots of Google services.
I also had a lol moment, kept hearing my phone beep and bong when it was sat on my work desk....confused, I disabled all motion settings in case it was that as I have smart alert enabled among others but still beeped and bonged....turns out my bank card in my wallet is contactless enabled with an NFC chip built in and when I placed the phone on my wallet it would attempt to read the bank card through the wallet randomly!

Hmm, how can this happen? I was messing around with the camera about an hour ago and it was absolutely fine. Now I try it again and a black smudge appears, despite the glass being clean.
No idea how dust would have got inside there.
Edit: Hmm, seems to be different now which suggests it's on the glass, however I can't see anything on it at all.

My phone keeps pestering me to update, however it is rooted, etc. How do I do it?
From what I've gathered you just update it and then have to reroot the phone again
Same here with updates, but i also put on Syiah, it fails when phone downloads the update with verification error and Kies just downloads it and fails without error.
It looks like i would have to download the full 680mb version and flash that in odin then re root
Will probably just go custom rom eventually

So i have successfully managed to root my S3 using CF-Root however i cannot get CWM to install? i've tried installing just the recovery partition through odin, appears to work ok but when booting into recovery mode, i get the standard android recovery. anyone had anything similar?
