My girls sensation xl got the ics update from O2 a few nites ago, so they are definitely rolling out updates on time. Just a waiting game for us.
 
The rainforest doing some good deals on Anker batteries, 2 x 1900mah batteries plus a wall charger for 15 quid.

Check for software update manually on phone chaps (Settings/About/Software updates), and you will see as evanswolves82 says... ICS is available OTA :-D) Downloading now :-D

(Now I just have to wait for Skype/hotmail/gmail and probably everything else to be incompatible lol.)

Update is 298.01MB.
 
(as Above) There is a easy guide on XDA on how to keep your hboot and still install the update manually :-)

I just updated OTA... I've waited long enough for it without rooting the phone (And the phone has been just fine to be utterly honest).


I'm not trying to decide whether I should bother with a factory reset or not after I've done the install lol. I'll see how it goes. Running ok at the moment though.

Just tested skype and it works fine :-)
 
UI certainly seems more responsive :-)

I haven't lost anything, and everything appears to be working. Might have to turn friend stream back off (it's on by default), as I remember that being a battery drainer last time.

Awesome update it seems, phone is pretty much perfect now + loads of RAM free. Used to have ~ 130Mb and now ~330 Mb
 
Amazing... dock mode actually works as expected now when on an MHL Adaptor. It only took a complete Operating System upgrade to do it lol.
