Buying a 680, but which one?

Well as the title explains, I'm buying a 680.

I'm currently torn between the Phantom & the current offer KFA, both 2gb as I'm running a single 1080p screen. I would like some suggestions of instock 680's, or which of the two I should go for.

For in stock ones I'd take the evga signature or one of the asus dcs, or the gigabyte windforce.

Something to bare in mind about the kfa2 on offer is it only outputs 1x displayport and 3 x mini-hdmi. Don't like the phantom cooler personally.

I'm basically going to be running this at stock speeds. Is the phantoms cooler ****e then? as my rig runs hot.

Quickest 680 out the box is KFA2 White and the cooler is quiet.

I'd rate the Windforce cooler as marginally better though.

For me it be a tough choice between gigabyte and kfa.

I think you can get DP-DVI adapters? not sure.
Phantom will be ok at stock. you need good case cooling to expel the air though.
My 580 phantom runs fine at stock, although still makes an annoying whirr. Overclocking it is a no-go for me because it makes such a whiny racket. The 680 version may be better because it has only two fans and the architecture is cooler..

Also, inb4 people recommend buying a 670 instead.

Gigabyte WF would be my choice.

DEFINITELY! +90 on the core, +740 on memory. I'm running at 1080p and has maxed everything fine. Picked mine up for £340, excellent value for money. Runs extremely quiet and shockingly cool (55'C BF3 Ultra)
