Hi all, I want to go on a break for 5-7 days in August. I'm gonna book the week starting Sunday 5th off so I can go away somewhere to relax and get some tan. My budget is around £300 for flights and accomodation. Not bothered if it's self catering or not, or if it's a hotel or apartment. Also willing to rent a car if necessary and thus increase my budget.
I went to Almeria in January and I absolutely had a great time. First time in Spain, and first time driving over there but I got used to it quick. Definitely needed a car there lol! Weather was alright but it was the experience that I loved and since then I've been longing to go back to Spain for a break.
I've been looking at Majorca, Canary Islands, Marbella, Beniform, Valenica etc..I'm going with a relative and possibly another. They have ruled out Barcelona or Ibiza.
Again, this is just purely for a break and to relax. So accomodation, beach (and lots of it), maybe car rental if needed, one night going out for drinks or clubbing, and sightseeing/shopping is for another time.
Would appreciare it if anyone has recently gone on a break there and could share with me how much you paid, how long you went for, how was weather and what you did there. Thanks.
