Yes err maybe this is obvious but cant do it, when i exit camera my old settings are lost eg set mode to landscape daylight mode on ect ect. Use camera exit then when i use again its back to default settings, very annoying! !! any ideas
Galaxy note on ics

Im sure this cant be done, the only way round i can find is to press home screen and keep it open in the background. going to give support a buzz tommorow but still open to any ideas. ..............

hmm my s2 on ics keeps the settings :/ try a different camera app "procapture" is a good one.. and cameraFX :) paid but you can always get a refund if you dont like it..

if we're talking camera apps, Camera360 is my favorite... Plus it's free now :)

Takes nice crisp pictures and is jammed full of features and styles... (plus it remembers what you tell it ;))

My old (non android Samsung) phone did this, it would however keep the settings if you take and then save a picture then exit the camera app. Was one of many many many annoying quirks that phone had, called a pixon I think? Horrible thing!

'ProCapture'

Awesome, thank you. The CM9 Camera is woeful compared to the TW camera. Was the only thing I missed about TW but this seems to be the ideal replacement.
