would i be able to fit a soundcard with 2x7970 lightnings installed????
and what power rated psu would you go for with a oc'ed 3770k and watercooling(just cpu for now)

No, not unless you was to watercool the 7970's, but the onboard sound is fine for the most part, power supply, maybe 850w at a minimum, maybe better to go bigger though

2 x Lightnings are no problem I ran 2 7970 heavily overclocked on this board. The sound card may well reduce the bandwidth to the 7970´s though.

The onboard sound solution is quite a good one unless your using specialist applications.

PSU is a difficult one because you need overhead for stability. I personally RAN 1200w antec HCP with mine. This is overkill but I only own 1200w units.

I would suggest a branded 850 watt would be fine while not hammering the system.

I love my audio though and it will be hooked up to a £1k onkyo receiver so onboard audio although ok will not be good enough.

Well with the 7970's being 2 slot it will cover the remaining slot for the soundcard, you may be better off with a different board that fits your needs better.
